Attack on Titan Final Season Premiere Date Announced

September 24, 2020

The Japanese network, NHK, has officially announced that Attack on Titan will premiere its final season on December 7, 2020. This is great news for fans who were beginning to worry about serious delays after the series was suddenly removed from NHK’s fall lineup. The final season is rumored to be split into two parts; each consisting of about 10-12 episodes. Which is very similar to how Season 3 was broadcasted.

What isn’t similar, is that the final season will feature a complete overhaul in animation with MAPPA taking over the reins from Wit Studio. What do you think about the new animation? Check out the trailer for the final season and leave a comment down below.

In the Season 3 finale, Eren and company finally reached the ocean after a long and excruciating journey escaping the walls. What will happen now that they know of their enemies that live beyond the ocean? Be sure to catch the simulcast of Attack on Titan on Funimation or Crunchyroll. You can also binge Seasons 1-3 on either site.
